Maximum performance with low emissions engine
Developed with cutting-edge emissions technologies our diesel and lpgas engines ensure maximum performance with low emissions.
-
High pressure common rail fuel injection system – to ensure the diesel burns cleanly with optimum power output.
-
Exhaust gas recirculation system – sending exhaust gas back through the system after cooling to limit harmful emissions, whilst a diesel oxidation catalyst oxidizes harmful particulate matter.
Operator Presence System
To increase safety for the operator and surrounding personnel, Operator Presence System (OPS) comes as standard, providing audible and visual reminders to the operator. All powered travel and some hydraulic functions disengage when the operator leaves the normal operating position. A warning alarm will sound and an indicator will appear on the dash if the operator either leaves the compartment without applying the parking brake or forgets to fasten their orange seat belt which is brightly coloured to prompt use.
Flexible options designed for hard applications
Additional protection to avoid ingress of higher levels of dirt and debris according to your operating environment. These robust options will reduce the risk of downtime over the long term.
Standard and optional safety packages to suit your application
• Rear grab bar with horn button – Allows the operator to comfortably and securely hold the grab bar and access the horn while travelling in reverse.
• Ground speed control – Programming limits on speed and acceleration in areas where caution is required, such as applications with pedestrian traffic.
• Rear work light, rear blue light, warning beacon and alarm packages – Increasing visibility for operators in dimly lit work areas and visibility of the operational forklift to nearby workers. • Load weight indicator - The weight on the forks automatically appears on the dash from the moment the forks are lifted.
• Anti-skid steps - increasing operator safety in everyday and fast-paced use.
Frequently Asked Questions.
A counterbalance forklift is a type of forklift truck that has been specifically designed to lift and transport heavy loads with ease and precision. With its impressive lifting capacity and manoeuvrability, the counterbalance forklift has become an indispensable tool for warehouses, manufacturing plants, and logistics companies. Its ability to efficiently move heavy objects not only saves time and effort but also enhances productivity in the workplace. As a result, this forklift type has become one of the most commonly used in the industry.
One major drawback is their limited manoeuvrability compared to other forklift types, especially in tight spaces. Due to the position of the counterweight at the back of the forklift, it can be challenging to navigate through narrow aisles and congested areas. Additionally, the counterweight itself adds to the overall weight of the forklift. Moreover, the rear placement of the counterweight increases the risk of accidents, as it can obstruct the operator's view and make it difficult to judge distances accurately. Despite these drawbacks, counterbalance forklifts remain a popular choice due to their reliability and versatility.
A range of courses are available, including novice courses, experienced operator courses, and refresher courses. Each course will take a different amount of time to complete (usually a number of days), at which point you will receive an operating card and your Trained Operator Passport Scheme (TOPS) will be updated to reflect your new certificate
