The SPW and SPR are two compact pedestrian stackers brand new to TCM. This new generation of pedestrian pallet stackers comes in different sizes and has a range of different features and benefits. They boast the shortest chassis on the market and provide low-cost, efficient solutions for multiple stacking and order-picking applications. The new stackers are ideal for the narrow aisles of a warehouse – manoeuvring seamlessly through very tight spaces – and their initial lift ability offers higher-intensity double stacking.
With world-class ergonomics and robust construction, the SPW and SPR pedestrian pallet stackers work to reduce environmental impact and maximise uptime, ultimately minimising your Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

The SPW is available in four different load capacities; 1,000KG, 1,200KG, 1,400KG, and 1,600KG. The load centre distance of all of these models is 600mm, the load wheel axle to fork face (with forks lowered) is 700 - 925mm and the wheelbase ranges from 1,215mm to 1,610mm.
The truck’s weight without load, and with maximum battery weight, ranges from 730KG to 1,288KG, and all of the models have a track width (from the centre of the tyres) on the drive side of 515mm with a track width (from the centre of the tyres) on the load side of 385mm (bar one model which possesses a track width on the load side of 1,025 - 1,425).

Similar to the SPW, the SPR is available in four different load capacities: 1,000KG, 1,200KG, 1,400KG, and 1,600KG. The load centre distance of all of these models is 600mm, the load wheel axle to fork face (with forks lowered) is 700 - 925mm and the wheelbase ranges from 1,215mm to 1,610mm.
The truck’s weight without load, and with maximum battery capacity, ranges from 1,000KG to 1,440KG, and all of the models have a track width (from the centre of the tyres) on the drive side of 515mm with a track width (from the centre of the tyres) on the load side of 385mm (bar one model which possesses a track width on the load side of 1,025 - 1,425). Additionally, the SPR has a fold-down platform for improved operator comfort and efficiency on longer travel distances.
Both the SPW and SPR are available in models that offer initial lift and wide straddle. Get in touch with us here to discover more about the characteristics, such as the wheels, drive train, dimensions, performance, and motor specifications of TCM’s compact pedestrian pallet stackers.
The chassis is ergonomically designed offering enhanced manoeuvrability. The low-maintenance AC motor technology provides more torque and higher control – making it responsive to the slightest command from the operator – doesn’t use carbon brushes and offers advanced energy efficiency. This feature means there’s less chance of damage, a reduced need for servicing, and longer battery life, which makes for increased productivity.
The new models come with additional features as standard, too:
The SPW and SPR have robust 56 mm fork thickness that can be used with gitter box stillages, and wide straddle legs are available which provide extra stability when handling wider loads.

Designed especially for stacking work, the truck's usability and ergonomics have been tested by external experts. Offering easy access to all service areas, they also work as a warehouse ‘workhorse’, meaning that the SPW and SPR are suitable for a variety of jobs.
Operator comfort is integral. The patented, ergonomically-shaped tiller head with large life/lower rocker buttons and a large surface of speed control suits all hand sizes and is easy to use when wearing gloves. This enables effortless control and impact resistance from falling goods as it has a robust IP65 weather-protected casing. A rocker switch on the tiller head controls the speed-regulated proportional valve – which is used for lifting, lowering, and handling in a smooth, safe and precise way.
The patented layout of controls – the distance between the hand and lift/lower rocker buttons makes them easier to reach which reduces fatigue and stress in the arms and hands of drivers. This also allows the driver to operate with one hand, even when wearing gloves, depending on the operator's driving position.
To further reduce stress and fatigue, the shaped throttle wheel has seven different finger positions, is cone-shaped and has an optimised, cross-sectional handle. For advanced visibility and operator comfort and safety, the tiller arm is height optimised, enabling the driver to see over the forks easily. This tiller head is likely the most ergonomic currently on the marketplace, delivering improvements in operability, efficiency and reliability.

Providing safety in tight spaces, these models include specially rounded edges to safeguard personnel and prevent damage, with metal sides to help absorb knocks. The sturdy chassis design delivers outstanding manoeuvrability, ensuring the driver is safe when navigating the narrow aisles of the workspace and the battery cover and hinges are made from steel. The strong construction of the pedestrian pallet stackers greatly enhances safety and reliability.
Both the SPW and SPR have 4 points of ground contact with the drive wheel located to the side. The more stability on offer, the easier and safer the machine is to handle. The SPW is configured with an offset tiller arm to improve the visibility of the load whilst working, providing comfortable and reliable conditions, enabling the operator to drive, manoeuvre and work safely.

Our new compact pedestrian pallet stackers are fitted with emergency stop switches that cut the current in emergencies. This is easy, simple, and fast, ensuring optimal safety in emergencies. The forklift trucks have two driving modes: ECO and performance, which makes using the machine effortless even for new, inexperienced drivers. The ECO mode saves energy and creates a safer, more comfortable working environment and the longer battery usage enhances efficiency.
The high ground clearance of the initial lift model enables the equipment to scale ramps and uneven floors easily, without compromising the view of the forks, making for better usability and decreasing any safety concerns.

Whilst you can choose which battery type to pair with our pedestrian pallet stackers (Lithium-ion (Li-ion) or lead acid), Li-ion batteries come with a huge range of advantages. Lithium-ion batteries can offer real benefits over lead-acid batteries, particularly in high energy, multi-shift, and 24/7 applications. They offer longer life, higher efficiency, and a longer run time. This facilitates a consistent performance, faster-charging ability, no maintenance and in-built protection.
